IFA Conservation Center Aids Artists Throughout City

Faculty and students of the Conservation Center at NYU’s Institute of Fine Arts aided their community in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. The efforts—which were featured in the Wall Street Journal, among other publications—included venturing to artists’ studios, archives, art storage facilities, galleries, and conservation firms in low-lying areas of Chelsea, Brooklyn, and Long Island City.
