WHO: Charlton McIlwain, professor of media, culture and communication at NYU Steinhardt will be on-site at this week’s Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, N.C., and available for media interviews. He is the author of the book .” The text recently won the APSA Ralph Bunche Research Prize and was named “Best of  the Best” by the American Library Association.“Race Appeal: How Candidates Invoke Race in U.S. Political Campaigns."
