NYU College of Dentistry, NYU College of Nursing, ABC7, and Colgate Team Up for Free Health Screenings, Sept. 21-24, 2011

Join NYU College of Dentistry, NYU College of Nursing, ABC7, and Colgate for free dental and general health screenings Wednesday through Saturday, September 21-24, 2011, at the NYU College of Dentistry, 345 East 24th Street (corner of First Avenue), NYC. 

All children ages 6 months to 16 years will receive a photo commemorating their visit. Adults and children will receive free dental screenings and vouchers for free oral examinations and polishings. Vouchers for free dental sealants and free custom-made mouth guards for youngsters and adolescents will be distributed to young athletes. Free diabetes and blood pressure screenings will take place, as well as free oral cancer screenings for adults. Visitors will also receive free toothbrushes and other personal oral hygiene products.

No appointment necessary.  For additional information the public may call:  866.698.0264.

The dental screenings are available from 8:30 am -7pm on Wednesday and Thursday, from 8:30 am-4 pm. on Friday, and 9 am to 1 pm on Saturday, with free diabetes and blood pressure screenings  available weekdays from 8:30 am to 4 pm.

On Saturday, the “Dr. Molar Magic Show” by Bruce Lish, DDS, and Colgate’s Dr. Rabbit Mascot will be performing for the children; all children screened will receive a free photo of themselves with Dr. Molar Magic or Dr. Rabbit Mascot to take home.
