Performances by NYC’s Leading Jazz Artists
In July, the Department of Music and Performing Arts Professions at New York University’s Steinhardt School is offering a program of 11 evenings of jazz guitar at its newly renovated Provincetown Playhouse. The program, beginning July 11 and running through July 27, will feature performances by some of New York City’s leading jazz artists. Each concert will also include participants from the Department’s Summer Jazz Guitar Intensive workshop who will perform work.
The NYU Jazz Guitar concerts will begin July 11 and run through July 27, 2011 at NYU’s Provincetown Playhouse, 133 MacDougal Street in New York. Subway: A,B,C,D,E,F,M (W. 4th St.). Performances by the Summer Guitar Intensive participants are at 7:30 p.m. followed by leading NYC jazz artists at 8 p.m. The concerts are open to the public.
