New York University will host spiritual teacher and author Sharon Salzberg on Wednesday, March 23, 6:15-8:15 p.m. at Brittany Hall, Rhodes Room (55 East 10th Street [between Broadway and University]). Subways: 6 (Astor Place); N, R (8th Street).

Salzberg has recently been featured in the Los Angeles Times, ABC News, and the Huffington Post for her groundbreaking work on happiness. The co-founder of the Insight Meditation Society (IMS), she has been a student of meditation since 1971 and guided meditation retreats worldwide since 1974. Salzberg’s latest book is Real Happiness: The Power of Meditation: A 28-Day Program (Workman).
