The NYU in DC program is NYU’s first “Study Away” (rather than Study Abroad) site in the US; other sites include Accra, Berlin, Buenos Aires, Florence, London, Madrid, Paris, Prague, Shanghai, and Tel Aviv, with programs also under development in Abu Dhabi and Sydney.

NYU--one of the largest private universities in the U.S. and a member of the selective Association of American Universities--sends more students to study abroad than any other U.S. university, and it has one of the largest groups of international scholars and students in the U.S.

NYU--with a major new liberal arts campus in Abu Dhabi, 10 existing “Study Away” centers, and three more (including NYU in DC) under development--is emerging as the world’s first Global Network University
