Jewish Foundation for Education of Women (JFEW) Awards a Grant to NYU College of Nursing


The New York University College of Nursing today announced a $78,000 grant to the College to support the JFEW Palliative Care Scholars Program. The grant period will run from September 2010 through June 2013.

The New York University College of Nursing today announced a $78,000 grant to the College to support the JFEW Palliative Care Scholars Program. The grant period will run from September 2010 through June 2013.

“JFEW Palliative Care Scholars Program at the College of Nursing prepares graduate student to provide the highest level of care to the patients they serve,” says Dean Terry Fulmer, NYU College of Nursing. “The funding we receive is crucial to provide our scholars an opportunity to become experts in palliative care practice. We can’t thank the Jewish Foundation for Education of Women enough for their generosity.”

The NYU College of Nursing will determine the recipients of the JFEW Palliative Care Scholarships.  Female students who are U.S. citizens or possess a green card who are from the tri-state area, and who demonstrate financial need are eligible to apply.
