The highlight of the annual Poets Forum, the Chancellors of the Academy of American Poets share one stage to read from their work: Victor Hernández Cruz, Marilyn Hacker, Lyn Hejinian, Edward Hirsch, Naomi Shihab Nye, Sharon Olds, Ron Padgett, Marie Ponsot, Carl Phillips, Robert Pinsky, Kay Ryan, Gerald Stern, Susan Stewart, and C.K. Williams.
About the Poets Forum, former Poet Laureate Robert Hass has said, “This gathering of poets from all over the country and from many sets of aesthetics and practices in the fall in Manhattan, when the air was cold and Central Park glistening, felt like something between an updraft and a feast.”
