TSOA Sophomore Hannah Stenson Wins An API Vision Scholarship 2010 Award

September 16, 2010

Hannah Stenson, a sophomore in the Clive Davis Department of Recorded Music at the Tisch School of the Arts, has won an API Vision Scholarship 2010 Award.  This is the third year for the award, which was created for students enrolled at universities and schools that prominently feature the API Vision stereo/surround analog console, and other API products.   The scholarship fosters creativity and excellence for the audio industry's next generation of professional sound engineers and producers.

The Clive Davis Department of Recorded Music's Studio 510 features the API Vision console in its curriculum and for student recording projects.  Applicants are required to write an essay discussing the importance of analog audio for producing recordings and to submit one of their recordings.
