Kanbar Institute Students Appear on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno”

March 30, 2010

Congratulations to the winning directors of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno Contest—Michael Chiboucas ’13 (Irvine CA); Sanjay Singh ’13 (Middle Island, NY); and co-directors Kylie Condon ’12 (Chicago, IL) & Stacey Greenberger ’12 (West Windsor, NJ).  The undergraduates from the Kanbar Institute of Film and Television will appear on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and have their short videos screened.  The episode will air Wednesday, March 31 at 11:35p.m. ET.

The Tonight Show with Jay Leno invited Kanbar students to participate in Jay’s Student Film Festival and Critical Review.  The assignment was to use a Flip Cam to create a 90-second short comedy in one week using the words DAIRY, SPRINT, and REMORSE.  The three winning shorts were chosen from a group of 17 projects in all submitted by Kanbar students.

The filmmakers were flown to California and will appear with Leno on The Tonight Show while their films are aired and reviewed by Leno and a film critic.
