Dr. Tara Cortes Joins the NYU College of Nursing as the first Mathy D. Mezey Visiting Professor of Geriatric Nursing

Dr. Cortes is the first Mathy D. Mezey Visiting Professor of Geriatric Nursing. She will be working with the Hartford Institute for Geriatric Nursing and the Nurses Improving Care for Healthsystem Elders (NICHE) Program, which imports principles and tools to stimulate a change in the culture of healthcare facilities to achieve patient-centered care for older adults.
