The NYU Reynolds Program in Social Entrepreneurship is designed to support and train the next generation of social entrepreneurs who will implement sustainable and scalable solutions to society’s most intractable problems. Reflecting the notion that social entrepreneurship is a meta-profession that draws on the skills and methodologies from a wide variety of disciplines, this cross-university initiative encompasses all 14 undergraduate, graduate, and professional schools at NYU. At the core of the program are highly competitive Undergraduate Scholarships and Graduate Fellowships. The program also brings significant social entrepreneurial resources and opportunities to the greater NYU community as a whole.
The Graduate Fellowship:
The NYU Reynolds Graduate Fellowship is open to new students applying to any full-time, two-year master’s degree program at NYU (excluding some executive programs) and students currently enrolled in the Schools of Law, Medicine, Dentistry, and some Tisch School of the Arts students who have two years remaining beginning September 2010. Fellows will receive up to $50,000 over two years of study and dedicated programming that supports their vision and work as change makers. Up to 10 Fellows will be named per year.
Fellows will participate in: The NYU Reynolds “Social Entrepreneurship in the 21st Century” Speaker Series; Specially designed course in social entrepreneurship; Social Entrepreneurial Advisory sessions; Seminars and workshops led by the Reynolds Expert Advisors; Summer internships and project-related work; Mentorship and research opportunities; Networking events.
