On Friday, April 24, 2009, NYU School of Laws Center on Law and Security will host a day-long conference called Todays Military: Its Challenges, Missions, and Future, examining the state of todays military, where it stands given the two wars it is currently fighting, what its challenges are, and what its future looks like. The conference features a keynote address by Gen. John P. Abizaid, USA (Ret.), former commander, U.S. Central Command.
