Shimon Peres, president of Israel and winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, will deliver an address, “The Globalization of Peace,” on Thurs., Sept. 25, 6 p.m. at NYU’s Tishman Auditorium in Vanderbilt Hall, NYU School of Law (40 Washington Square South). The event is sponsored by NYU’s Taub Center for Israel Studies.

Peres, who served under David Ben-Gurion, Israel’s first prime minister, in several roles, is the ninth president of the State of Israel.
