NYU Steinhardt Presents Teaching Conference On Using Hip Hop in the Classroom

New York University’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development will present a weekend-long conference for teachers, educators, and community activists, “Preemptive Education: Language, Identity, Power,” on Fri. Sept. 26 though Sun. Sept. 28 at NYU’s Silver Center, 100 Washington Square East at Waverly Place.

The conference examines the issues that affect today’s youth, while providing creative and practical resources to address them.
