NYU’s Center on Law and Security will present an open forum discussion on the influence of Sharia law in the broad context of international human rights concerns on Wed., Feb. 27, 6:00-7:30 p.m. at NYU School of Law’s Lipton Hall, 108 W. 3rd Street (between MacDougal and Sullivan Streets). Participants in the forum are Reza Aslan, author of No god but God: The Origins, Evolution, and Future of Islam, and Ricardo Rene Laremont, professor of political science and sociology and interim dean of Harpur College at SUNY Binghamton. Karen Greenberg, executive director of the Center on Law and Security at NYU School of Law, will moderate.
