New York University is ranked No. 1 in both the number of international students studying at NYU and the number of NYU students studying abroad, according to the annual “Open Doors” study released today by the Institute of International Education (IIE). While NYU has long been a leader in both categories, it is the first time one university has ranked first in both areas since 1996 when Boston University had that honor.

New York University’s residence hall energy reduction challenge, NYUnplugged, is taking place beginning Monday, April 15, 2013 and ends on Monday April, 22, 2013, in conjunction with NYU’s celebration of “Earth Week 2013. Established through a Sustainability Task Force Green Grant in 2008, “NYUnplugged” was conceived of by Adam Brock, a student at the Gallatin School of Individualized Study.
