63 NYU Alumni Receive Emmy Nods

The nominations for the 66th Annual Primetime Emmy® Awards included 63 alumni from the NYU in 38 categories, encompassing all areas of the business including acting, writing, directing, producing, casting, editing, sound mixing, and design. 61 nominees were alumni of the Tisch School of the Arts and one alumnus graduated from both the NYU College and Graduate School of Arts and Science. Several alumni, including Billy Crystal (’73), Sarah Silverman (’93), Steve Bodow (’95), Carey Joji Fukanaga (’05), Vince Gilligan (’89) and Alfonso Gomez-Rejon (’94), received nominations in more than one category.
