Malina, a Senator At-Large on the SSC, is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences studying Sociology.
As a first generation college student, Malina represents the interests of other first generation college students at NYU is addition to students on financial aid, student workers, and multiracial students. Malina is also a Resident Assistant to freshmen in Weinstein Residence Hall.
On the SSC, Malina serves as the Chair of the SSC and Chair of the Student Affairs Budget Allocation Committee, and is an active member of the External Affairs Committee, Alumni Relations Committee, Senate Committee on Governance, and the Information Technology Advisory Committee.

Rocco, a Senator At-Large on the SSC, is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences studying Economics.
As an international student from the Philippines, he is tasked with representing the interests of international students on the University-level. Rocco is also the Vice Chairman of the SSC, serving as the Chairperson of the Student Activities Board, which oversees more than 300 All-Square Student Organizations. In addition to the SSC, Rocco is the Chairperson of the 1831 Fund and a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity.
On the SSC, Rocco serves as the Vice-Chair of the SSC and Chair of the Student Activities Board, and is an active member of the Alumni Relations Committee and the International Affairs Committee.

Mariam, a Senator At-Large on the SSC, is a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences studying Economics.
Her work with the Student Senators Council originally began as a school senator for Liberal Studies but with her determination to help the student body in its entirety, she took on the role of Senator At-Large. As a keen traveler, Mariam is a proponent of the Global Network University and speaks French and Farsi fluently, with working knowledge of Urdu and literary components of Arabic.
On the SSC, Mariam serves as the Vice-Chair of the SSC, Chair of the External Affairs Committee, and Chair of the All-Square Student Budget Allocation Committee, and is an active member of the Information Technology Advisory Committee and the Alumni Relations Committee.

Mason Dettloff, a Senator At-Large on the SSC, is a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences studying Politics.
Mason calls Las Vegas home and with a passion for politics and student advocacy, his work has taken him to Albany and Washington DC to advocate for financial aid on behalf of students at NYU. In 2011, he was an NYU John Brademas Center for the Study of Congress Scholar.
On the SSC, Mason serves as Secretary of the Executive Committee, Vice-Chair of the Student Activities Board, and Chair of the Student Senate Pubic Relations Committee, and is an active member of the External Affairs Committee and the University Senate Judicial Board.

Celaena Powder, the Gallatin Senator, is a senior in the Gallatin School of Individualized Study concentrating in Corruption.
Celaena, born and raised in Alaska, advocates on behalf of the Gallatin population and serves as the SSC’s Executive Treasurer. In addition to her Council duties, Celaena competitively plays Ultimate Frisbee on NYU’s Women’s Ultimate Frisbee team, the Violet Femmes, and is a Gallatin Peer Mentor.
On the SSC, Celaena serves as the Treasurer of the Executive Committee and Vice-Chair of the All-Square Student Budget Allocation Committee, and is an active member of the Senate Financial Affairs Committee, the Undergraduate Curriculum Advisement Committee, and the Information Technology Advisory Committee.
