Congratulations to the new AMC Officers! At the April general meeting, a new slate of officers was elected for the 2016-17 academic year: Raymond Lutsky as Chair, Kristi Schwindt Ramos as Vice Chair for a second term, Daniel Holub as Treasurer, and Katrina Denney as Secretary. The AMC is proud to have sponsored a luncheon on February 25 for Filipino employees. The event was attended by more than 20 people, including faculty, administrators and staff.

NYU goes pink! The AMC and the NYU community participate in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. On Sunday, September 13, 2015, several members of the NYU community and their families attended the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Central Park. The team raised up to 65% of its goal and had tons of fun while raising awareness towards breast cancer.
The Community Service Committee is thrilled to announce that we collected approximately 1750 food items at the Manhattan sites and 200 items at the Brooklyn sites. A huge thank you to Jennie Tichenor and NYU Security's team with the organization of Tom Shindler for doing all the Manhattan pick-ups. And thank you to the site coordinators and the community for their support of this year's drive.
