Work Life

Our Mission

Making life simpler so you can be your best

As part of NYU’s commitment to improving the well-being of its faculty members and administrators, the Work Life office serves as the bridge between university-wide policy and the unique needs of NYU employees. We aim to create a culture of support by providing personalized, forward-thinking guidance to help you find harmony in both work and life.

COVID 19 Updates:

  • Please note that all consultations with our Work Life program directors will be held online until NYU suspends COVID-19 guidelines.
  • For more resources about how to telecommute effectively in your department, scroll down to the "Telecommuting Resources" section of this webpage.
  • NYU has confirmed that spaces at the university (including Lactation Rooms) are being cleaned according to the NYC Guidelines for General Disinfection Guidance which can be found here.
  • Older adults and those with compromised immune systems are the most vulnerable populations. Visit our Adult Care page for ways to plan ahead.
