Dr. Susan Greenbaum is the Interim Assistant Vice President and Executive Director of the Wasserman Center for Career Development.
Susan comes to the Wasserman Center with a deep understanding of NYU; its students, alumni and its relationships with the many private sector industries, public and non-profit fields, that work so closely with the Wasserman Center.
Susan has dedicated her career to developing the skills and strengths of young people. She served in a variety of capacities at the Stern School of Business over a 31-year career, culminating in her role as the Associate Dean of the Undergraduate College. During her time at Stern, she led Student Affairs, and amongst many initiatives, led the creation of the undergraduate cohort model and the implementation of the Cohen Arts and Culture Experience. Susan was also involved with a wide range of programs including admissions, financial aid, curriculum initiatives, and alumni relations. She was also an adjunct faculty member at Stern. During a hiatus from Stern, she served as the CEO of the Girl Scout Council of Greater New York. Following her time at Stern, she has worked as a consultant and executive coach with a focus on educational institutions: assisting clients with communications, reorganizations, new programs, alumni relations and public relations.
Susan received her BS and MBA from Stern, and earned her doctoral degree in Higher Education Management from the University of Pennsylvania. Susan’s family is part of the greater NYU family, having earned six degrees from NYU. She and her husband are avid golfers and love the theater.
