The Vice Provost for Strategic Planning is responsible for the academic component of University-wide space planning. As such, the Vice Provost for Strategic Planning works closely with schools as part of their space planning process and serves as co-chair of the Space Planning Working Group.
The Vice Provost for Resource Planning is the most senior finance and operations executive in the Office of the Provost. He advises the Provost on a broad array of academic initiatives and opportunities and is a member of the Provost's cabinet and the President’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT). The Vice Provost serves as liaison to NYU’s schools, colleges and institutes as point person for the Provost’s Office on strategic matters including, but not limited to, student housing, the administrative improvement initiative, student health insurance, and complex cross school issues, such as balance of trade. He works collaboratively with the Office of the CFO, Financial Operations, and Budget and Financial Planning.
