As Vice Provost for Strategic Planning, Joe Juliano divides his time between the Provost's Office and the Vice Chancellor for Strategic Planning. He assists with planning academic initiatives and oversees special projects related to academic development - focusing particularly on the global network and cross-school initiatives. His responsibilities include working with the Office of Global Programs to develop new and existing sites abroad, space planning, organizational development, and helping to coordinate administrative support for global operations. In addition, on behalf of the Provost's office, Mr. Juliano is responsible for the academic component of university-wide space planning. As such, he works closely with schools as part of their space planning process and serves as co-chair of the Space Planning Working Group.
Mr. Juliano has worked at NYU since 1983, most recently as the Dean of Administration for the Faculty of Arts & Science, along with serving as the Executive Director of the Office of Global Programs. He graduated from Rutgers University in 1980.
