Operations and Planning

The Vice Provost and Associate Vice Chancellor for Strategic Planning is responsible for the academic component of university-wide space planning.  As such, the Vice Provost works closely with schools as part of their space planning process and serves as co-chair of the Space Planning Working Group.

The Associate Provost for Academic Operations Planning and Chief of Staff to the Provost provides administrative leadership and support for the Provost's initiatives and priorities by providing principal management support to the Provost, and overseeing the administrative and day to day operations of the executive Office of the Provost, as well as space planning, academic compliance, and pre-award grant administration for the Office of the Provost.  The Associate Provost provides administrative oversight to the Coordinator of the Faculty Senators Council, oversees the Office of Academic Appointments, and represents the Provost on the Space Planning Working Group and the University Compliance Officers.

Fiscal Affairs, Office of the Provost

The Vice President for Public Resources provides oversight of fiscal affairs for the Provost by directing public and non-public agency funding negotiation and administration, overseeing NYU-Poly shared services arrangements, and coordinating NYU Student Strategy Committee policies and programs,  including new student loan agreements.
