The Senior Vice Provost and Vice Chancellor, Europe, works on the University's long-term strategic planning in Europe and supports faculty and graduate research abroad. She oversees the Provost's Global Research Initiatives, including research centers, and also oversees a number of provostial institutes in New York, including the Humanities Initiative, the Remarque Institute, the New York Institute for the Humanities, and the Center for the Study of Gender and Sexuality, as well as the Scholars at Risk Network at NYU.
