Nathan Leitner is a Research Analyst for the Office of Academic Assessment. Prior to this, he worked in education in program management and development. He began his career in the private sector working as a Business Analyst in International and Government Programs for the Boeing Company in Seattle. Additionally, he worked in business development, strategy, and operations working with and developing start-ups in Los Angeles. While in New York City and pursuing his master’s degree, he has worked and collaborated with a range of organizations including the Clinton Foundation, the United Nations Global Compact, Google for Nonprofits, TED Conferences, Indego Africa, the NYC Charter School Center, and Explore Schools. His policy and research interests include international economic development, public-private partnerships, impact evaluation, and business engagement and development in emerging markets.
Nathan earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Puget Sound and he is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration degree specializing in International Management & Policy at New York University. He also completed course work on a graduate exchange at the ESADE Business School in Barcelona and holds his Project Management (PMP) credential from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
