Melody Cherny joined the Office of Academic Assessment in September 2012. Prior to this, she worked as a Program Associate at the Association of Maternal & Child Health Programs - a national nonprofit dedicated to improving the health of women, children, youth and families - in Washington, DC. In 2010, Melody was a Public Service Fellow at the Partnership for Public Service, where she wrote and researched for the book project, The Complete Idiot's Guide to Getting Government Jobs. Melody also served as a Research Assistant for the University of Washington Anti-Trafficking Project and the University of Washington Autism Center.
Melody earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at the University of Washington and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health degree at New York University.
