As strategic partners to the University, NYU’s Office of Talent, Learning, and Organizational Development ensures that NYU has the diverse workforce and the high-performance culture needed for faculty, students, and staff to achieve the University’s academic goals. We provide services that help NYU attract, develop, and retain people with the skills and abilities to meet the University’s needs. These services include:
 
  • Leading the staffing and recruitment process for NYU business units
  • Advising schools/units on NYU policies and practices related to recruitment and staffing
  • Managing the University job posting / applicant tracking system, and background check, pre-employment testing, and job advertising processes
  • Managing the University-wide new hire orientation
  • Overseeing the University’s relationship with temporary staffing agencies and ensuring temporary staffing complies with University policies
  • Consulting with schools/units and planning, designing, and conducting open enrollment and custom classroom-based and online programs that address professional and leadership development needs
  • Managing the University-wide training registration and online learning system (NYUiLearn)
  • Consulting with schools/units and providing organizational development consulting for building productivity, employee engagement, and overall effectiveness
  • Managing the University-wide performance communication process
