Tom leads the HR Strategy & Solutions team, and is responsible for the creation of innovative solutions that enhance organizational effectiveness and contribute to the achievement of NYU’s vision and mission.
Prior to joining NYU, Tom was Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Operations Strategy for The Princeton Review where he led HR as a core member of the business transformation leadership team. He has also led the HR functions for EdisonLearning (formerly Edison Schools Inc.), the Panasonic Industrial Sector, and the Global Wireless Products division of Lucent Technologies (including a joint venture with Philips Consumer Communications). Tom also has extensive experience outside of the HR function, including eLearning business development, corporate strategy, and global expansion.
Tom specializes in the creation of HR “shared services” delivery models and the leadership of client-facing Business Partner teams. Tom’s focus includes organizational culture and achievement of company vision through leadership development, talent management, and alignment of rewards with results.
Tom has a BA summa cum laude in Economics from Saint Peter’s College, and an MBA in Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
