In his role as Vice President for Global Campus Services, Dr. Kivetz is responsible for the real estate component of student housing, Dining Services and the Torch Club, the University Bookstores, Global Operations, the Kimmel Center as well as the Skirball Center for the Performing Arts. Balancing the needs of students with the values of the University, Campus Services provides the University with high-quality, effective, state-of-the-art and entrepreneurial services.
He had been the Assistant Vice President for Housing and Residence Life since 1987, during which time, Dr. Kivetz nurtured the growth of the student housing system from 5,000 to 12,000 student residents. He has over 35 years of experience in the field of Higher Education and Housing and Residence Life. Prior to his tenure at New York University, Dr. Kivetz was Director of Housing at the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg for 10 years, with additional experience at Miami University in Ohio and the University of South Florida.

Dr. Kivetz received his doctorate from the University of Mississippi with a major in Higher Education Administration; his M.S. from Miami University, and his B.A. from SUNY College at Fredonia.
