Anthony Jiga manages the Office of Budget and Financial Planning and is responsible for preparing and managing the consolidated annual operating and capital budgets and multi-year financial plans for New York University’s Washington Square Campus and international campuses (i.e., all units of the University other than the NYU Langone Medical Center).  Reporting to the University’s Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Jiga works closely with unit fiscal officers, deans, and the University’s Leadership Team to establish budgetary and financial planning parameters, maintain budgetary controls, and to provide decision-support analysis.

Prior to coming to NYU in 2005, Mr. Jiga held financial management positions with several organizations.  He served as the Chief Financial Officer for The New York Public Library and also worked for the City of New York Office of Management and Budget, the RAND Corporation, and Alameda County, California.  He also provided financial consulting for the Polish American Freedom Foundation and several universities.

Mr. Jiga received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan and his Master of Public Policy degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
