Jeff received his J.D. from Yale Law School, where he was an Editor of the Law and Policy Review, holds a Master’s in Public Administration from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, where he was a Public Affairs Fellow, and graduated magna cum laude from Brown University, where he received a Joslin Award for campus leadership. Prior to joining NYU in 2014, Jeff served in various government positions, including Acting General Counsel and Chief of Litigation for the New York City Council, Assistant Solicitor General for New York State, Vice President for Economic Empowerment at Empire State Development, and law clerk for Judge Diana Motz on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Jeff is currently a member of the Yale Law School Executive Committee and an adjunct faculty member at NYU’s Wagner School of Public Service, where he teaches a course on law and public policy.
