Brit received her J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she was an Essay and Review Editor of the Columbia Law Review and a James Kent Scholar and Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. She received her B.S., with distinction, in Journalism and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin. Immediately prior to joining NYU in 2018, Brit was an Assistant General Counsel at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
Previously, she was a law fellow at the Pennsylvania State University, a law clerk for the Hon. Miriam Goldman Cedarbaum and the Hon. Gregory H. Woods, both of the Southern District of New York, and a litigation associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP. She has also been a member of the adjunct faculty at Columbia Law School, where she taught legal writing, research, and advocacy.
