StaffZoe RagouzeosHealth Promotion & Wellness Services Zoe Ragouzeos is the Director of Health Promotion, Wellness Services and Emergency Response. She is a licensed clinical social worker. Her role is to supervise NYU’s 24/7 Wellness Exchange hotline, the walk-in counseling services, the crisis response team and the health promotion services including the Wellness Exchange media campaigns. Zoe also provides mental health outreach and training to NYU’s student leaders, faculty and staff. Finally, she provides counseling to NYU students with mental health concerns by telephone, email and in person. She also collaborates with private, community-based and national mental health organizations, to ensure that NYU students receive the quality care they deserve. Zoe knows NYU inside and out. She is a graduate of both the College of Arts and Science (1995) and the MSW program of the School of Social Work (1999). She has been a full-time employee of NYU since 1994 and started out in 1991 as a work-study student. Zoe is a native New Yorker, born and raised in Queens, and was a commuter during undergrad. She knows what it's like to have a lot to juggle and encourages NYU students to call her when they feel overwhelmed or depressed, when they have health or mental health related questions, or when they simply have a lot on their minds and need to talk.
