Yolanda Cacciolo

Yolanda Cacciolo is the Director of the Moses Center for Students with Disabilities. Her role is to administer the implementation of the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act), as it applies to access, support services and reasonable accommodations for NYU students. She conducts educational workshops for faculty, administration health services, residential life and other administrative departments.

Yolanda is a certified rehabilitation counselor with major in psychology. She is a graduate of NYU and has worked in the Moses Center for 12 years. At the start of her employment at NYU, she acted as Coordinator for the Moses Center, as well as counselor for CAS. She is also a Rape Crisis Counselor and has specialty training in HIV/AIDS.

Yolanda is a native New Yorker and has professional as well as personal expertise in working with young adults as a mother of three adult children. In dealing with students and their parents, this is a definite advantage. Interacting with students is her favorite aspects of her work.
